From the President’s Desk

Well, we are way behind on our newsletters. I am ashamed to admit that we are currently two issues behind. This tardiness is because of the explosive growth around here (with thanks to all of you) coupled with non-stop work on new products. We have recently introduced our fantastic new Infla-Cream product and the reports are nothing short of spectacular. Lately, we have been developing a joint renewal formula that we believe will become an industry standard in the near future. We are also working on a companion product for pain and inflammation and may offer these products bundled as an anti-arthritis package.

Now, a word about our phones. During regular business hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM weekdays eastern time) we try to answer 100% of our phone calls. Unfortunately, sometimes we are on another line (more so lately) or we must step out of the office for various reasons and your call is bounced to our answering service. This is done to ensure that a live body answers all of your calls and is available to take your order or request for information 24 hours per day 7 days a week. As good as our answering service is, they can’t answer the technical or billing and shipping questions you might have. We have asked our service to take a name and phone for those who have questions that they can’t answer. We return calls as quickly as we can, usually within just a few minutes except over weekends. If you feel you have been mishandled by our answering service please let us know so that we can correct the problem.

As we promised in previous newsletters there is an update on my brother Ken Michaelis and his company’s FDA battle. The FDA’s prosecution of Ken Michaelis of Holistic Alternatives, Inc was tentatively concluded with Ken very reluctantly accepting a plea bargain agreement. This was made necessary by the methodology employed by the prosecutorial team and corruption of the federal courts in the name of the war on drugs. The Justice Department moved to exclude nearly all of Ken’s witnesses on the grounds that they were "immaterial" and might "prejudice" the jury (in other words bring in a "not guilty" verdict). The judge, who has a very pro-prosecution reputation, granted the motion. Unfortunately for the prosecutor, it was later discovered that the judge was the local US attorney at the time of Ken’s raid in 1993 and the prosecutor worked directly for him at the time. The prosecutor knew this fact and hid it from both the judge and the defense, which could have caused a mistrial or loss on appeal for the government. The judge was forced to recuse himself. Somehow, the prosecutor still has her job despite obvious misconduct. Ever wonder why federal prosecutors have such a high conviction percentage? Machinations like those described above force plea agreements and pad conviction numbers. Less than 5% of federal prosecutions ever come to trial because the justice system has become corrupted.

Ken’s attorney still believes that he can beat the government’s case on amygdalin, hands down. Ken has more than ample evidence of grandfathering for amygdalin and many expert witnesses. The problem in the case is hydrazine sulfate. Ken was able to find no one to testify as an expert on hydrazine and the government is using this deficiency to close down both amygdalin and hydrazine sulfate availability.

Ken was sentenced on October 4, 2001 to 6 months in a halfway house and 6 months on house arrest on a tether. This is not the sentence agreed to. At the last minute the prosecution reneged on its plea agreement, which called for 6 months of probation, withdrawing credit for "substantial assistance". Ken was called to a grand jury hearing in Minnesota to testify in another laetrile and hydrazine sulfate distributor’s case. He was sworn to tell the truth and was punished for doing so because the truth damaged the government’s case. The Minnesota prosecutor stooped so low as to attempt to suborn perjury by coercion in another demonstration of prosecutorial misconduct. A new judge was assigned to the case after the recusal of the previous one who offered at least the prospect of allowing Ken to offer a defense. Under the previous judge he was assured of being allowed no defense. An attempt was made to withdraw the plea in light of the change in the plea agreement. Unfortunately, this motion was vetoed by the new judge who seemed more interested in clearing his docket than administering justice. Now Ken has been ordered to report for his halfway house stint on Christmas Eve! This is even shocking to people at the halfway house since they give everyone passes for home good for the 24th through the 26th. It appears that the prosecution has used its influence to manipulate the reporting dates from preliminary investigation. So much for "justice".

What’s New?

As mentioned earlier, new Infla-Cream is available and selling fast. Infla-Cream is a topical cream designed to eliminate pain from arthritis and injury to joints, muscle and connective tissue. It can also be used on burns, minor wounds and topical fungal infections. It comes in a long lasting 4 oz bottle and its cost is more than reasonable.

Coming Soon!

Rocky Fork Formulas will soon (in the next few weeks) introduce a new arthritis formula as a companion to Infla-Cream. This new formula is a highly advanced innovation using two patented ingredients in combination with some tried-and-true herbal, anti-inflammatory and pain relief supplements. The new product is called Arthritis Complex HS and uses Cell Renew (Chicken Cartilage II) and Myristin (Cetyl Myristoleate or CMO) as the base ingredients along with Glucosamine Sulfate, Chondroitin Sulfate, Boswellia serrata, Turmeric, MSM and Manganese. This one will soon be the supplement-of-choice in both rheumatoid and osteo arthritis.

Product Details

Fibromyalgia Complex- Fibromyalgia Complex is a specially designed blend of malic acid (250 mg), the minerals magnesium (62 mg as malate, 50 mg as glycinate), manganese (3 mg as glycinate) and chromium (30mcg as polynicotinate), standardized extract of Devil’s Claw herb (100 mg), N, N-dimethylglycine (DMG; 25 mg), MSM (150 mg) and vitamins B1 (25 mg) and B6 (25 mg). It was designed to give maximum nutritional support in

MSM- MSM is shorthand for methyl sulfonyl methane, a first cousin to the famous (infamous?) anti-inflammatory and analgesic DMSO (dimethyl sulfoxide) an extract from wood pulp. MSM has also been called DMSO2 due to an extra oxygen atom attached to the sulfur atom of DMSO. Dr. Stanley Jacob, the chief researcher on DMSO and MSM has written that he believes that it is MSM that is the active ingredient for pain relief when using DMSO topically. He believes that a portion of the DMSO applied to the skin is oxidized to MSM, which then acts as the anti-inflammatory and analgesic agent. Each capsule contains 1000 mg of MSM.

Pain Complex- The main ingredient of this supplement is the amino acid DL-Phenylalanine. DL Phenylalanine (300 mg) has long been used as a natural remedy to combat chronic pain. We have added proven pain relievers MSM (250 mg) and the herb Devil’s Claw (150 mg; standardized extract) to round out this formulation designed for chronic pain sufferers.

Infla-Cream- This is a proprietary blend of the following (active) ingredients: MSM, Cetyl Myristoleate (CMO), Arnica montana, Usnea, Calendula, Vegetable Glycerine, Aloe Vera, Citricidal, Apricot Kernel Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Malaluca Oil, Vitamins A, D & E, Fatty Acid Esters. Designed as an all-purpose cream, it is excellent in combating the pain of arthritis (both types), pain and inflammation of sports and other soft tissue injuries, sunburns, burns, topical fungus infections, minor wounds, dry skin, etc.
